Liebe 2008-Ilmenau-Gruppe,

1. May meeting

Select the dates you are able to meet, and rank them (first, second, and third choice). Please indicate if you unable to attend on any day or at any time. I’d really like to get everyone together if possible.

Friday afternoon between 12 noon and 5 p.m.: May 9, May 16 or May 30
Saturday morning or afternoon between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.: May 10, May 17 or May 31

If you have not given me a copy of your passport, please do so at this meeting.


2. Finalize travel plans

Will you be traveling with the group (depart Cincinnati-Frankfurt Aug. 1, return Frankfurt-Cincinnati Aug. 24)?

If you are not traveling with the group, or will be traveling to, or returning from, a different location, you must get me that information by May 15. This will determine your final cost, since that cost is based on the actual price of your ticket.

I expect to have the tickets before the end of May, with your final payment before the Memorial Day holiday. Please let me know if you anticipate any problems getting me the money at that time.


3. Register for 28 GRMN 261 for the third summer session.

Details about the class will be given at the meeting.


4. Send me your gmail address if you not already done so.

If you do not have a gmail account, please let me know and I will start the process (It’s really simple: You’ll get an email from gmail saying you’ve been invited to get an account. You go to the site and set up a user name and password. That’s all.)

At the May meeting, we will complete the TU information sheet (in German), complete the UC International scholarship application (I hope you all are awarded money), complete the UC International required meeting (hopefully—it depends on their schedule), and set up your blog site so you have time to play with it before we leave and you begin using it. We will also talk about recommendations for what and how you need to pack.
